We welcome all coaches and judges to our tournament. Breakfast
and lunch will be provided in our judge hospitality lounge. Speech and
PF pools will be combines to ensure variety in judging.
Judge Quotas:
Speech:
One qualified judge for every five speech slots or fraction thereof is
requested.
1-5 entries - 1 judge
6-10 entries - 2 judges
11-15 entries - 3 judges and so on...
PF Debate entries:
One qualified judge for every three debate slots or fraction thereof is
requested.
1-3 entries - 1 judge
4-6 entries - 2 judges
7-9 entries - 3 judges and so on...
LD Debate entries:
One qualified judge for every three debate slots or fraction thereof is
requested.
1-3 entries - 1 judge
4-6 entries - 2 judges
7-9 entries - 3 judges and so on...
Congress entries:
One qualified judge for all entrants.
If you drop contestants after the entry deadline (January 26th), judges
still must be provided for those dropped slots. Dropped judges will
result in an $125.00 hired judge penalty fee. Schools will be assessed
a $25.00 per round fee for judges who arrive late, leave early, or fail to
pick up scheduled rounds. Judges dropped at registration will be
assessed a $150.00 penalty.
Hired judges may be commissioned at $85.00 per judge on a first
come, first serve basis.
Deadline for Judge Requests:
Wednesday, January 26th.
Due to a limited number of hired judges, we do appreciate any judges
you can bring along. We are also interested in hiring any additional
LD judges you may have available.
