How do I register for the Ridge Invitational?
We will be using www.tabroom.com for registration. There are a few steps to take in order to ensure your registration goes through properly.
1. Go to www.tabroom.com. You may see a direct link to the 2009 Ridge Invitational on the sidebar. If not, proceed below.
2. From the pull down menu, pick “New Jersey Forensic League”
3. A login screen will appear; if you have previously used www.tabroom.com (Yale, Penn, Newark CFL), you can use your current login from the previous events. If you have never registered a team with www.tabroom.com, click “Create a New Account.”
4. Previous users will be given an option to join the NJFL. Click ‘join.’ You will not be charged any league dues by joining on www.tabroom.com.
5. You will now be able to register your team for the tournament. All adds/drops/changes for students and judges can be made at this site through your login.
6. Be sure to check the ‘novice’ box for those students who meet the requirements:
For all speech events: Any student in his/her first year of any forensic competition (middle school included).
Lincoln-Douglas offers it's own novice division. Students must be in grades 9 or 10, and be in their first year of competition.
7. Judges are to be added as well. If you are listing a judge who is not ‘affiliated’ with your school, and can legitimately judge your students, please click on the ‘neutral’ box. These may be judges you hire from college teams, the arts community, or the public sector who are not related to current students nor immediate alumni to the school.
8. Invoices can be printed at any time from the tournament entry page. We appreciate your payment at registration. Checks/Purchase Orders may be addressed to “RHS Student Activities.”
