procedures of the New Jersey Forensic League. (see www.njflonline.

Lincoln-Douglas Debate (three divisions)

Topic: Jan/Feb NFL Topic

Novice Lincoln-Douglas Debate
(First-year only – MUST BE freshman/sophomore status)

Junior-Varsity Lincoln-Douglas Debate
(First/Second year only - may be a junior)

Varsity Lincoln-Douglas Debate
(Open division)

All students will compete in four preliminary rounds.  Outrounds may
take place as time allows.


Student Congress
Bills are due on Friday, January 21st.  Bills will be e-mailed during
the weekend prior to the tournament.  We ask all schools competing
in Student Congress to submit, at least, one bill.   


Public Forum Debate (two divisions)
We will use the NFL rules (coin flip)

Novice Public Forum Debate
(First year only - both partners must be 9th/10th grade. No
juniors/seniors.)

Varsity Public Forum Debate
(Open division)

All students will compete in four preliminary rounds.  Outrounds may
take place as time allows.  Students in Congress, LD and PF may
not double-enter.
