My Mission Statement
All students should be provided the opportunity and
resources to succeed in their educational pursuits. I believe
a person's education is rooted in three key traits: desire,
challenge, and purpose.  First, a desire to be educated is
paramount to a student's success.  My goal is to build an
environment where a student's desire to learn is enriched
and fulfilled.  Second, education is challenging.  Regardless
of a student's SAT scores, GPA, or IQ, I seek to challenge my
student's literary, philosophical, and social knowledge,
beliefs, and convictions.  Such a challenge is crucial to the
formation of self perceptions and ideals.  Finally, the ability
to extend the knowledge to purpose is paramount in the
learning process.  I will strive to help students recognize the
value of language arts in their academic, professional, and
personal lifestyles.
